Maïté Baldi est une photographe documentaire et photo-reporter basée à Marseille. Elle sort diplômée de photographie de l’École Agnès Varda de Bruxelles en 2016. Elle s'intéresse à des parcours de vie singuliers (Mbaye, une vie de pêche, 2018 ; Jeannette Robert : God first, 2023) et à des questions de société telles que les normes de beauté influencées par les réseaux sociaux (projet en cours).

En 2019, elle participe à une résidence photographique à Forcalquier et s’engage dans un nouveau projet d’auteur. Parallel est une recherche visuelle sur l’univers du rêve comme porte vers l’inconscient. 

Maïté Baldi contribue également au projet collaboratif international One in Six by 2030, traitant du vieillissement de la population mondiale, initié par des photographes de l’agence VII.

Elle travaille régulièrement avec la presse (The Washington Post, The Guardian, Le Monde, Mediapart, Causette, Die Zeit, Télérama, etc.), et avec des organisations internationales (Greenpeace, Amnesty International, WWF, Secours Populaire, etc.). Elle réalise aussi des commandes institutionnelles au service d’entreprises ou d’agences en France et à l’étranger.

Maïté Baldi is a documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Marseille. She graduated in photography from the Agnès Varda School in Brussels in 2016. She is interested in singular life paths (Mbaye, une vie de pêche, 2018; Jeannette Robert: God first, 2023) and societal issues such as beauty standards influenced by social networks (project in progress).

In 2019, she will take part in a photographic residency in Forcalquier and embark on a new auteur project. Parallel is a visual investigation into the world of dreams as a gateway to the unconscious.

Maïté Baldi also contributes to the international collaborative project One in Six by 2030, dealing with the aging of the world's population, initiated by photographers from VII Agency.

She works regularly with the press (The Washington Post, The Guardian, Le Monde, Mediapart, Causette, Die Zeit, Télérama, etc.), and with international organizations (Greenpeace, Amnesty International, WWF, Secours Populaire, etc.). She also carries out institutional commissions for companies and agencies in France and abroad.
