I don’t simply want to freeze a moment. I look for the moment that tells a story.

At concerts and cultural events, I look beyond what happens on stage. I pay attention to everything that surrounds it: a glance, a gesture, a reaction from the crowd, an unexpected encounter, a moment of tension, a detail that might otherwise go unnoticed. These are often the fragments that reveal the true story of an event.

I want my photographs to convey more than what happened. I want them to carry the atmosphere, the energy and the emotion of a moment — to make the viewer feel as though they were there, even when they were not.

To me, a strong image should never end with what it shows. It should leave something behind. A feeling, a question, a curiosity — the desire to know what happened before and what came after the shutter was released.

This is the approach I am developing through my editorial work in live music, concerts and Asian cultures in France, with the ambition to gradually take this perspective beyond borders.
