Emmanuel Son, aka « Yame », est le fils du chanteur et guitariste Ngoupa Emanty, il a su synthétiser et s'approprier des genres populaires mais en apparence disparates en un mélange ambitieux, de la chanson française à la trap en passant par le jazz, le tout porté par une voix atypique, instantanément reconnaissable, qui renvoie tantôt au chant lyrique ou au rap.

Emmanuel Son, aka "Yâme", is the son of singer and guitarist Ngoupa Emanty, and has synthesized and appropriated popular but seemingly disparate genres into an ambitious mix, from French chanson to trap and jazz, all carried by an atypical, instantly recognizable voice that sometimes refers to lyrical song and sometimes to rap.
