Images d'illustrations du musée de la tapisserie d'Aubusson dans lequel sont présentées des oeuvres anciennes ou modernes retraçant l'activité des manufactures locales depuis 6 siècles d'activité.
Ce savoir faire raffiné est aujourd'hui inscrit au patrimoine immatériel de l'UNESCO.
Les tapisseries sont traditionnellement tissées d'après les oeuvres de peintres cartonniers puisqu'ils peignaient sur des cartons ce qui ensuite était tissé par des ouvriers lissiers.
Cet été 2026, le musée présente trois séries d'oeuvres monumentales : Le Chant du Monde de Jean Lurçat, un hommage à George Sand de Françoise Pétrovitch et des reproductions géantes de l'oeuvre de Hayao Miyazaki.

This refined craftsmanship is now listed as part of UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.
These tapestries are traditionally woven based on the works of designers, as they would paint their designs on cartoons, which were then woven by weavers.
This summer of 2026, the museum is presenting three series of monumental works: Le Chant du Monde by Jean Lurçat, a tribute to George Sand by Françoise Pétrovitch, and giant reproductions of works by Hayao Miyazaki.
