Between two eyelid beats - les plis .
A broad crpus built up over time, in everyday life. The whole, composed of visions of everyday life, builds a "lyricism of reality", a poetics of the ordinary.
Clara Chichin photographs what surrounds her, "floating moments", people, situations, landscapes, objects in her immediate environment. Trees, animals, bodies, inert and abandoned things, life, with its moments of celebrations, holidays and epiphanies, also of solitude, are mixed together. Neither descriptive, nor testimonial, nor narrative, his images are evocations, invitations to contemplation and the imagination. The autobiographical and affective dimension is always subtly present.
Above all, there is the beginning of a dance, a choreography of gestures, postures, attitudes, ways of standing and moving
of standing and moving that punctuate the whole like so many variations. The elements photographed
are apprehended in their sculptural dimension playing with the frame, invading it. Children and nature are
are increasingly present: nature is seen as material for dreaming; childhood as a time of free relationship with the body and
to the body and to nature.
