Aujourd’hui, Kangaroo Island abrite l’une des populations les plus visibles d’Australie, notamment le long des axes secondaires comme celui de Seal Bay.

Introduced on the island at the beginning of the 20th century, they established themselves permanently, taking advantage of a favorable habitat and a relative absence of predators. Today, Kangaroo Island is home to one of Australia's most visible populations, especially along secondary roads such as Seal Bay.
