Mont-de-Marsan : la gauche reprend le fauteuil de maire
Frédéric Dutin, candidat socialiste aux municipales de la ville préfecture des Landes de Mont-de-Marsan qui a conduit la liste d’alliance de gauche, une liste commune avec le Parti communiste français (PCF), le parti écologiste Europe Écologie‑Les Verts (EELV), Place Publique et la Gauche Républicaine et Socialiste s’est installé dans le fauteuil de maire vendredi 27 mars 2026 en fin d’après-midi. Officialisant ainsi le retour de la gauche dans le fauteuil de maire après dix-huit années estampillée à droite.
La nouvelle opposition est partagée entre trois forces. La droite avec le maire sortant Charles Dayot, le centre avec la tête de liste Genevieve Darrieusecq, ancienne maire et actuelle députée des Landes. Les deux têtes de liste ont décidé de ne siéger ni au conseil municipal, ni à la communauté de commune laissant respectivement leur place à Marie-Christine Harambat et à Mathieu Ara.
Puis, la troisième opposition est marquée de l’emblème du Rassemblement national : pour la première fois de l’Histoire politique de Mont-de-Marsan, deux conseillers municipaux issus du parti de Marine Le Pen, Nicolas Dérègle et Cindy Seguin entrent dans la salle du conseil municipal landais.
Mont-de-Marsan: the left takes over the mayor's chair
