VANUATU - On the East Coast Road de l’île d’Espiritu Santo
Sur l’île d’Espiritu Santo dans le nord de l’archipel du Vanuatu, le territoire est divisé en deux : la côte ouest est plus sauvage, moins desservie et parfois accessible seulement en 4x4 ou bateau. La côte Est est desservie par la route principale et surtout praticable longe la côte est de l’île.
Bienvenue le long de l’East Coast Road. Cette route serpente entre cocotiers et clairières ouvertes sur la mer. Dans les cocoteraies, les vaches paissent tranquillement, profitant de l’herbe qui pousse à l’ombre des palmiers. Au loin, le lagon dévoile ses reflets turquoise, et l’ensemble compose un paysage paisible, où la nature et la vie quotidienne s’entremêlent avec simplicité.

On the island of Espiritu Santo in the north of the Vanuatu archipelago, the territory is divided into two: the west coast is wilder, less served and sometimes accessible only by 4x4 or boat. The East Coast is served by the main road and especially passable along the east coast of the island.
Welcome along East Coast Road. This road winds between coconut trees and clearings open to the sea. In the coconut trees, the cows graw quietly, taking advantage of the grass that grows in the shade of the palm trees. In the distance, the lagoon reveals its turquoise reflections, and the whole composes a peaceful landscape, where nature and daily life intertwine with simplicity.
