Festival international de journalisme
Lancé en 2016 et organisé par les titres du groupe Le Monde et L’Obs à Couthures-sur-Garonne, un village du Lot-et-Garonne de 360 habitants, le Festival international de journalisme est un rendez-vous estival où les passionnés de l’info aussi bien les professionnels que le public débattent autour de nombreux thèmes.
La septième édition qui s’est déroulée du 14 au 16 juillet 2023 a rencontré un vif succès : 8 500 festivaliers sont venus échanger notamment lors de la conférence du parrain de cette édition, Roberto Saviano journaliste italien spécialiste du grand banditisme et écrivain menacé de mort par la mafia italienne. Il y avait aussi le journaliste Pierre Haski, président du conseil d'administration de Reporters Sans Frontières (RSF), Daniel Herrero, ex-rugbyman et conférencier, David Pujadas, journaliste sur la chaine LCI, Léa Salamé journaliste à France Inter et France Télévision, Thomas Legrand, journaliste à Libération et France Inter, Aida Ghajar, journaliste d'investigation iranienne, spécialiste des droits humains et d'immigration, lauréate du prix Freedom House…
COUTHURES-SUR-GARONNE - 7th International Journalism Festival
Launched in 2016 and organised by the Le Monde and L'Obs group titles in Couthures-sur-Garonne, a village in the Lot-et-Garonne department with a population of 360, the International Journalism Festival is a summer event where news enthusiasts, both professionals and the general public, debate a wide range of topics.
The seventh edition, which took place from 14 to 16 July 2023, was a great success, with 8,500 festival-goers attending the conference given by the festival's patron, Roberto Saviano, an Italian journalist specialising in organised crime and a writer under threat of death from the Italian mafia. Also present were journalist Pierre Haski, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reporters Sans Frontières (RSF), Daniel Herrero, former rugby player and lecturer, David Pujadas, journalist on the LCI channel, Léa Salamé, journalist on France Inter and France Télévision, Thomas Legrand, journalist on Libération and France Inter, Aida Ghajar, Iranian investigative journalist, specialist in human rights and immigration, winner of the Freedom House Prize…
