Lina, étudiante vétérinaire en rurale
Ce jour là elle effectue la prophylaxie pour la HME - la maladie hemorragique epizootique - sur des veaux qui vont être exportés en Italie pour engraissement. Elle est sous la supervision d'une vétérinaire titulaire, le docteur Deverrière. Lina fait partie de la nouvelle génération d'étudiantes qui se destinent à la fois pour la canine mais aussi pour la rurale, partie vétérinaire en déficit depuis des années. Le métier se féminise alors qu'auparavant les femmes étaient très minoritaires en rurale.

Lina is part of a new generation of students who are pursuing careers in both urban and rural veterinary medicine, a field that has been understaffed for years. The profession is becoming more feminised, whereas previously women were very much in the minority in rural areas.
