Ce sujet photographique en cours suit une nouvelle generation de jeunes maires en France et explore l exercice quotidien du pouvoir politique local, leurs responsabilites, leurs prises de decision et leurs relations avec les equipes municipales et les habitants. A City Hall That Lives Up to Its Generation
This ongoing photographic project follows a new generation of young mayors in France and explores the day-to-day exercise of local political power, their responsibilities, their decision-making, and their relationships with municipal staff and residents. For this first installment of the ongoing project, the photographer follows Fabien Aufrechter, mayor of Verneuil-sur-Seine, during a day of political and municipal activities—including meetings, public ceremonies, and site visits—in Verneuil-sur-Seine, Yvelines, Île-de-France, France, on July 10, 2026.
