Un "Mémorial pour ne pas oublier" a été érigé dans la matinée par Briançon Solidarité Exil sur le pont d?Asfeld. C'est un cairn, symbole de l'indication du chemin à prendre en montagne. Cette stèle rend hommage aux douze personnes qui ont perdu la vie en tentant de gravir la montagne pour arriver à Briançon. Il met en lumière le manque d'accueil et la militarisation des frontières qui poussent les migrants à prendre toujours plus de risques

This monument pays tribute to the twelve individuals who lost their lives while attempting to climb the mountain to reach Briançon. It resonates with the lack of hospitality and the militarization of borders that drive migrants to take increasingly dangerous risks.
