Sarah EL HAÏRY, secrétaire d'État chargée de la Jeunesse et du Service national universel, était au lycée d'Altitude de Briançon afin de présenter le Service national universel (SNU) à des élèves de seconde, en présence de volontaires des années précédentes.
Après une première expérimentation en 2019 ayant rassemblé 2 000 jeunes dans 13 départements pilotes, une édition 2020 fortement perturbée par la crise sanitaire et une édition 2021 qui a concerné 15 000 jeunes, le SNU est monté en puissance en 2022 avec 32 000 jeunes volontaires.
Priorité du président de la République, le SNU doit permettre de développer l'engagement de notre jeunesse et de renforcer la force morale du pays.

Sarah EL HAÏRY, Secretary of State in charge of Youth and Universal National Service, was at the Altitude high school in Briançon to present the Universal National Service (SNU) to second-year students, in the presence of volunteers from previous years. After a first experiment in 2019 which brought together 2,000 young people in 13 pilot departments, a 2020 edition greatly disrupted by the health crisis and a 2021 edition which involved 15,000 young people, the SNU ramped up in 2022 with 32,000 young volunteers. A priority of the President of the Republic, the UNS must make it possible to develop the commitment of our youth and to strengthen the moral force of the country.
