Portrait of Quentin Arola, MMA fighter and Coach.
Quentin Arola is an MMA (Mixed Mar% al Art) fighter and coach. Living off your passion, especially combat sports is the privilege of a few elites in the world. Before launching, Quentin was a specialized educator for 6 years. He mainly worked at Agapei with adults with intellectual disabilities.
He began Thai boxing at 15, then Brazilian jujitsu (bjj) at 17 in 2006, with Eric Satge and Yann Cabral, in the Aranha club in Toulouse. Arrived at the black belt of bjj, after 13 years of practice, he wanted to turn to MMA. In 2017 he played his first fights and trained in boxing. At the end of 2019, the need to diversify its practice is felt. In September 2020 he stops his social work to devote himself entirely to his practice of MMA, and opens a specialized Club, the TFT31, with Yohann Salvador, which brings together around 30 combatants. Since then, he has tried to find a balance by juggling his training, individual and collective coaching, and variations in authorization linked to the health crisis.
Today, the club is a solution to being able to live off your passion, thanks to your BPJEPS diploma. But it is not without difficulty. In all combat sports, very few can make a living from their passion without having a side activity.
