Action Greenpeace France - Contre l'importation de soja issu de la déforestation en Amazonie
Action Greenpeace, le 31 Mai 2021, au port de Montoir-de-Bretagne en France pour protester contre l'importation de soja provenant du Brésil et participant à la déforestation de l'Amazonie. Face à la demande croissante de soja dans le monde, les cultivateurs mettent intentionnellement feu à la forêt pour en faire des terres agricoles. Le port de Montoir est ciblé car c'est un des plus gros ports d'importation de soja en Europe. Dix activistes ont bloqué l'accès des camions à l'aide de chaines sur les portails principaux et d'antivols accrochés à leurs cous. Parmi eux, trois grimpeurs ont étendu une bannière sur un toboggan avec le slogan "Déforestation / Soja hautement inflammable".

Greenpeace Action, May 31, 2021, at the port of Montoir-de-Bretagne in France to protest against the importation of soybeans from Brazil participating in the deforestation of the Amazon. Faced with the growing demand for soybeans around the world, farmers intentionally set fire to the forest to make it into farmland. The port of Montoir is targeted because it is one of the largest soybean import ports in Europe. Ten activists blocked the access of the trucks using chains on the main gates and locks attached to their necks. Among them, three climbers spread a banner on a slide with the slogan "Deforestation / Highly flammable soybeans".
