Suite à l’annulation historique du Festival International de la Bande Dessinée (FIBD), le "Grand OFF" a investi la ville pour maintenir la ferveur culturelle de la capitale internationale du 9e art. Porté par les acteurs locaux et soutenu par plus de 500 auteurs, cet événement inédit et gratuit a proposé 150 manifestations dans 60 lieux.
L'édition officielle 2026 du FIBD avait été annulée le 1er décembre 2025—une première depuis 1974—après un boycott massif des auteurs et éditeurs et le retrait des financeurs publics. Ce séisme éditorial marque l'aboutissement d'un conflit majeur avec la société organisatrice 9e Art+ et son directeur, Franck Bondoux.

Following the historic cancellation of the International Comics Festival (FIBD), the "Grand OFF" took over the city to sustain the cultural fervor of the world's comic book capital. Driven by local stakeholders and supported by over 500 authors, this unprecedented free event featured 150 activities across 60 locations.
The official 2026 edition of the FIBD was canceled on December 1, 2025—a first since its inception in 1974—following a massive boycott by authors and publishers and the withdrawal of public funding. This editorial earthquake marks the culmination of a major conflict with the organizing body, 9e Art+, and its director, Franck Bondoux.
