Partir
Réalisée dans le nord du Maroc, entre Oujda et Tanger, cette série photographique explore les rives, les imaginaires et les fantasmes liés au départ vers l’Europe chez de jeunes Marocains.
Entre désir d’ailleurs, attente et incertitude, les images rendent compte d’un territoire traversé par l’idée du départ. Le projet est librement inspiré du livre Partir de Tahar Ben Jelloun.
Leaving
Produced in northern Morocco, between Oujda and Tangier, this photographic series explores the shores, imaginaries, and fantasies surrounding the desire of young Moroccans to leave for Europe.
Between the longing for elsewhere, waiting, and uncertainty, the images bear witness to a territory shaped by the idea of departure. The project is loosely inspired by Tahar Ben Jelloun’s book Leaving.
