PAU RETRO SHOW 2025: DES MACHINES ET DES HOMMES
Immersion au Pau Retro Show (2ᵉ édition) du 17 au 19 octobre au Parc des Expositions de Pau où se côtoient passionnés d’art de vivre vintage, professionnels, collectionneurs et amateurs d’engins motorisés anciens dans une ambiance festive et nostalgique. L'événement a rassemblé des personnages hauts en couleur, entre anciens champions automobiles comme la tête brûlée Christine Beckers, un récent ancien Premier ministre, François Bayrou, redevenu maire de Pau à plein temps venu prendre la température du public. Les visiteurs ont pu assister à des shows parfois spectaculaires, notamment le Wall of Death Gypsy, un mur vertical et cylindrique sur lequel des motards défient la gravité grâce à la seule force centrifuge. L’occasion aussi de rencontrer des personnalités attachantes, comme le couple senior franco-américano-canadien Sharon et Philippe, incarnant à merveille l’esprit d’aventure et de passion qui animait nombre d'exposants lors de ce week-end rétro.
2025 PAU RETRO SHOW: RIDES AND MEN
Immersion at the Pau Retro Show (2nd edition) from October 17 to 19 at the Pau Exhibition Center, where vintage lifestyle enthusiasts, professionals, collectors, and lovers of classic motorized vehicles gathered in a festive and nostalgic atmosphere. The event brought together colorful characters, including former racing champion and daredevil Christine Beckers, as well as François Bayrou, recently resigned Prime Minister and now back to full-time mayor of Pau, who came to take the pulse of the crowd. Visitors enjoyed sometimes spectacular shows, notably the Wall of Death Gypsy, a vertical and cylindric wall where motorcyclists defy gravity using only centrifugal force. It was also an opportunity to meet charming personalities like the senior Franco-American-Canadian couple Sharon and Philippe, who perfectly embodied the spirit of adventure and passion that animated many exhibitors during this retro weekend.
