CANDIDATURE COMMUNE RN-UDR A TARBES EN 2026: ANNONCES ET REACTIONS
À Tarbes, en conférence de presse puis lors d'un meeting politique devant environ 250 militants, Eric Peyregne, ancien conseiller municipal de Tarbes, référent départemental Union des Droites pour la République (UDR - formation dirigée par Eric Ciotti après son départ de LR), a annoncé sa candidature commune avec le RN aux élections municipales de Tarbes en 2026 sur la liste "Tarbes Le Temps du Changement". Deux cadres du Rassemblement National (RN) sont venus apporter leur soutien, Louis Aliot, maire de Perpignan, conseiller départemental des Pyrénées-Orientales et 1er vice président du RN, et Olivier Monteil, élu régional et responsable départemental du RN. Louis Aliot a insisté sur le fait que des pages se tournaient au niveau local, à Tarbes comme ailleurs, et que le "contexte national, (jugé favorable au RN), allait tirer l'élection municipale". Évoquant la formation d'Éric Ciotti, qui a rompu avec LR, Il s'est félicité de l'alliance avec une "droite décomplexée qui en a marre de subir la pensée unique qui nous est imposée par la gauche depuis 30 ans maintenant", ajoutant que cette alliance UDR-RN Tarbes aurait valeur d'emblème à Tarbes mais aussi dans d'autres villes. Une vingtaine de militants de gauche, anti-fa et féministes ont protesté contre la tenue du meeting. Aucun incident n'a été déploré.

In Tarbes, during a press conference followed by a political rally attended by around 250 activists, Eric Peyregne, former municipal councillor of Tarbes and departmental coordinator for Union des Droites pour la République (UDR—a party led by Eric Ciotti after leaving LR), announced his joint candidacy with the RN for the municipal elections in Tarbes in 2026 on the "Tarbes, Le Temps du Changement" list. Two RN leaders came to show their support: Louis Aliot, mayor of Perpignan, departmental councillor for Pyrénées-Orientales, and first vice president of the Rassemblement National (RN), and Olivier Monteil, regional councillor and departmental head of the RN. Louis Aliot emphasized that a new era was beginning locally, in Tarbes as elsewhere, and that the 'national context (seen as favorable to the RN) would carry the municipal election.' Referring to Eric Ciotti’s party, which broke ties with LR, he welcomed the alliance with a 'confident right, fed up with submitting to the single-minded thinking imposed by the left for the past 30 years,' adding that the UDR-RN alliance in Tarbes would stand as a symbol, not only in Tarbes but also in other cities. Around twenty left-wing, antifa and feminist activists protested against the rally. No incidents were reported.
