Les délégués des États membres du Fonds International de Développement Agricole (FIDA) se sont réunis au Centre de conférences Pierre Mendes du ministère français de l’Économie et des Finances à Paris pour la 13eme reconstitution des ressources de l'institution Co-organisées par la France et l'Angola, les consultations ont abouti à une session d annonces de contributions de deux jours à Paris appelant à des investissements accrus en faveur des petits agriculteurs et populations rurales des pays en développement pour lutter contre la pauvreté, la faim et la crise climatique. Sabrina Dhowre Elba, mannequin d'origine somalienne et ambassadrice itinérante des Nations Unies auprès du FIDA, a rehaussé de sa présence les consultations. Une commande de l'Agence onusienne FIDA.
IFAD: 2 DAYS IN PARIS TO REPLENISH RESOURCES
The delegates of the member states of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) met at the Pierre Mendes Conference Center of the French Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris for the 13th replenishment of the institution's resources. Co-organized by France and Angola, the consultations culminated in a two-day pledging session in Paris calling for increased investments in small-scale farmers and rural populations in developing countries to combat poverty, hunger, and the climate crisis. Sabrina Dhowre Elba, a model of Somali origin and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for IFAD, enhanced the consultations with her presence. An assignment for the IFAD UN Agency.
