Caremag: recyclage des terres rares

Carester lance la construction de son usine Caremag dediee au recyclage et au raffinage de terres rares. lle entrera en service fin 2026. Elle recyclera 2 000 tonnes d’aimants et raffinera 5 000 tonnes de concentres miniers par an, reduisant la dependance a la Chine. L’Etat investit 106 millions d’euros et une co-entreprise japonaise 110 millions. Le projet, qui creera 92 emplois, marque une avancee vers l’autonomie europeenne en terres rares.
Caremag: Recycling Rare Earths

Caremag is launching construction of its Caremag plant dedicated to the recycling and refining of rare earths. It will come into operation at the end of 2026. It will recycle 2,000 tons of magnets and refine 5,000 tons of mining concentrates per year, reducing dependence on China. The French government is investing €106 million and a Japanese joint venture €110 million. The project, which will create 92 jobs, marks a step towards European autonomy in rare earths.
