Un héros de 100 ans
Achille Muller 100 ans heros de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, a recu la medaille d’or de la Ville remise par Francois Bayrou premier ministre et maire lors d’une ceremonie au palais Beaumont a pau le 11 janvier 2025. Ne en 1925, il avait refuse de servir l’armee allemande en 1942 et rejoint le general de Gaulle a Londres, integrant les SAS pour des missions en Europe avant de participer a la liberation de la France. Entoure de 200 invites, il a dedie cet hommage a ses camarades tombes au combat, marquant un siecle d’honneur et de memoire.
A 100-year-old hero
Achille Muller, 100 years old, a hero of the Second World War, received the City's gold medal presented by Francois Bayrou, Prime Minister and Mayor, during a ceremony at the Palais Beaumont in Pau on January 11, 2025. Born in 1925, he refused to serve the German army in 1942 and joined General de Gaulle in London, joining the SAS for missions in Europe before participating in the liberation of France. Surrounded by 200 guests, he dedicated this tribute to his comrades who fell in combat, marking a century of honor and memory.
