Abeille Road
Un dimanche après-midi à Pau, une intervention insolite d'André Lavignotte, apiculteur expérimenté, a captivé l'attention des passants. Une colonie de 50 000 abeilles s'était installée sur un feu tricolore au centre-ville. Aidé par Jean-Claude, agent municipal, et quelques riverains, l'apiculteur a réussi à guider les abeilles dans une boîte à phéromones, malgré des défis liés à la hauteur du feu et l'absence de matériel adéquat. Le fumoir a été utilisé pour apaiser les abeilles, tandis que des frelons asiatiques rôdaient en embuscade, accentuant la difficulté de l'opération. La colonie a finalement été sécurisée et transportée.

One Sunday afternoon in Pau, an unusual intervention by André Lavignotte, an experienced beekeeper, captured the attention of passers-by. A colony of 50,000 bees had settled on a traffic light in the town centre. With the help of local official Jean-Claude and a few local residents, the beekeeper managed to guide the bees into a pheromone box, despite the challenges posed by the height of the light and the lack of suitable equipment. The smoke box was used to calm the bees, while Asian hornets lurked in ambush, adding to the difficulty of the operation. The colony was finally secured and transported.
