ZAN, ZENDEGI, AZADI
Manifestation en hommage à Mahsa Amini, jeune femme iranienne décédée à la suite de son arrestation par la police des moeurs pour le port de son voile mal ajusté. Morte le 16 septembre des coups reçus après son interpellation par la police, Mahsa Amini a été enterrée le 17 septembre à Saghez, sa ville natale, avant même qu'un médecin légiste ne puisse l'examiner. Depuis, de nombreuses manifestations ont eu lieu contre le régime et l'oppression que le gouvernement iranien fait peser sur les femmes.
Ce dimanche 2 octobre à Paris, des centaines d'hommes et de femmes se sont rassemblés en soutien à ces femmes iraniennes qui se battent pour leur liberté et scandaient : « Zan, zendegi, azadi » : « Femme, vie, liberté ».
ZAN, ZENDEGI, AZADI
Demonstration in honour of Mahsa Amini, a young Iranian woman who died following her arrest by the morality police for wearing an ill-fitting veil. Mahsa Amini died on 16 September as a result of beatings after her arrest by the police and was buried on 17 September in her home town of Saghez before a forensic doctor could examine her. Since then, many demonstrations have taken place against the regime and the oppression of women by the Iranian government.
On Sunday 2 October in Paris, hundreds of men and women gathered in support of these Iranian women who are fighting for their freedom and chanted: "Zan, zendegi, azadi" : "Woman, life, freedom".
