TUNNEL DE LA HONTE : DES MINEURS ISOLÉS ET FAMILLES HARCELÉ.E.S QUOTIDIENNEMENT PAR LA POLICE
Le vendredi 11 février, un campement situé dans le 13eme arrondissement de Paris, à Ivry-sur-Seine a été détruit par la préfecture de police. Le matériel de survie (tentes et couvertures) et affaires personnelles (vêtements chauds, médicaments, papiers d'identité) de plus de 80 personnes, mineurs isolés en situation de recours et familles avec enfants, a été détruit et jeté par la police pendant qu'ils étaient dans des accueils de jours ou en rendez-vous administratifs.
Depuis, ces personnes se sont réfugiées sous un tunnel du 19eme arrondissement de Paris et subissent quotidiennement de la part des policiers des menaces d'une "expulsion sèche" qui consiste à saisir tout ce qu'ils possèdent, sans mise à l'abri.
Alors que les dispositifs 115 et hébergements d'urgences sont saturés, malgré les températures hivernales et les conditions de vie extrêmement difficiles, le harcèlement policier s'intensifie et toutes ces personnes n'ont aucune autre solution que de dormir dans la rue exposées à tous les dangers.
TUNNEL OF SHAME: UNACCOMPANIED MINORS AND FAMILIES HARASSED DAILY BY THE POLICE
On Friday, February 11, a camp located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, in Ivry-sur-Seine, was destroyed by the Prefecture of Police. The survival equipment (tents and blankets) and personal belongings (warm clothes, medicines, identity papers) of more than 80 people, isolated minors in a situation of recourse and families with children, were destroyed and thrown away by the police while they were in day care centers or in administrative appointments.
Since then, these people have taken refuge under a tunnel in the 19th arrondissement of Paris and are threatened daily by the police with a "dry eviction" which consists of seizing everything they own, without shelter.
While the 115 and emergency shelters are saturated, despite the winter temperatures and the extremely difficult living conditions, the police harassment is intensifying and all these people have no other solution than to sleep in the street exposed to all the dangers.
