Louxor - Les tombes monochromes
Ces 22 tombes à décoration monochrome sont des monuments funéraires qui ne peuvent pas être trouvés ailleurs qu’à Deir el-Medineh, selon l’égyptologue français Bernard Bruyères (1952). Vieilles de 3200 ans, les tombes des artisans du pharaon, avec la grande fraîcheur des peintures tracées d’un coup de pinceau où domine l’or sur fond blanc, impressionnent aujourd’hui encore le visiteur.
Luxor - The monochrome tombs
These 22 monochrome decorated tombs are funerary monuments which cannot be found elsewhere than Deir el-Medina, according to French Egyptologist Bernard Bruyères (1952). The 3200 years old tombs of the Pharaoh’s craftmen, with the freshness of the single brushstroke drawings dominated by gold on a white background, still impress visitors today.
