Misty, the Erroll Garner Story - Georges Gachot
It's been 5 years since Franco-Swiss filmmaker Georges Gachot began work on his feature film Misty, which sheds light on the life of Erroll Garner, the prodigious pianist and composer who died suddenly in 1977 at the age of 55. For the JazzOnzePlus Festival 2024, the CityClub cinema in Pully screened the Swiss premiere of this exceptional film, in the presence of the director and Norwegian trumpeter Nils-Petter Molvaer, who contributed the contemporary part of the film's score. The film will be shown in cinemas in late 2024, early 2025.
