Passionné de bebop, le trompettiste et architecte Serge Wintsch avec son épouse Francine ont dirigé pendant plus de 20 ans le festival JazzOnzePlus à Lausanne. Chaque année durant une semaine de novembre, le festival met en scène l’essence universelle du jazz. Il y quelques années, Serge a pris sa retraite, puis a quitté ce monde sur une plage de Sète en France. En 2022, JazzOnzePlus, avec ses fils Alexis et Nicolas Wintsch, sous la conduite de François Lindemann et Yvan Ischer, a décidé de lui rendre hommage avec une quinzaine d’amis musiciens.

With a passion for bebop, trumpeter and architect Serge Wintsch with his wife Francine have been at the helm of the JazzOnzePlus festival in Lausanne for more than 20 years. Every year since 1986, for one week in November, the festival has brought the universal essence of jazz to the stage. A few years ago, Serge Wintsch retired and left this world on a beach in Sète, France. In 2022, JazzOnzePlus, together with his sons Alexis and Nicolas Wintsch, under the direction of François Lindemann and Yvan Ischer, decided to pay tribute to him on stage with about fifteen musician friends.
