Thierry Lang 5tet & David Linx - Heritage Project
Le pianiste Thierry Lang a commencé à enregistrer en 1996 en trio pour le label Blue Note, inspiré par la sensibilité mélodique de Bill Evans. Depuis plus de 30 ans, il mène des projets avec son ami joueur de bugle Matthieu Michel, ancien membre du Vienna Art Orchestra. Tous deux nés à Fribourg, ils font partie des rares musiciens de jazz suisses à avoir une carrière internationale. Il s'est produit au Club Chorus en juin 2022 en 5tet avec David Linx (voc) en invité surprise pour jouer Heritage Project, avec Matthieu Michel (bugle), Stéphane Guillaume (sax), Matyas Szandai (bass) et Luigi Galati (drms).

Pianist Thierry Lang began recording as a trio for the Blue Note label in 1996, inspired by the melodic sensibility of Bill Evans. For over 30 years, he has led projects with his bugle-playing friend Matthieu Michel, a former member of the Vienna Art Orchestra. Both born in Fribourg, they are among the few Swiss jazz musicians with international careers. He performed at Club Chorus in june 2022 in a 5tet with David Linx (voc) as a surprise guest to play Heritage Project with Matthieu Michel (bugle), Stéphane Guillaume (sax), Matyas Szandai (bass) and Luigi Galati (drms).
