Chris Woods (UK) est un virtuose de la guitare acoustique. Il s’est produit en solo au cours d’une spéciale Fingerstyle Night au MIGS 2023 (Montreux Guitar Show). Comme il nous l’a confié : le fingerstyle percussif est pour moi une vraie technique, ou un ensemble de techniques et d’approches pour jouer de la guitare ; un mode de jouer de l’instrument où vous n’êtes pas lié par une bonne façon, mais plutôt par une approche intuitive à laquelle la guitare vous a conduit.

Acoustic guitar virtuoso Chris Woods (UK) performed a solo at a special fingerstyle night at MIGS 2023 (Montreux Guitar Show). As he told us: percussive fingerstyle to me is really a technique, or a collection of techniques and approaches to playing the guitar; a way to play the instrument, a way to play where you’re not bound by a right way but instead an intuitive approach that the guitar leads you to.
