Balimaya Project - Wolo So
Balimaya Project est un groupe basé à Londres et dirigé par le percussioniste et compositeur Yahael Camara-Onono. Ce grand ensemble, avec des musiciens originaires du Burkina Faso à la Gambie, s'inspire de l'héritage du tambour Mandé pour créer une musique fusion de jazz, soul et cuivres. Balimaya Project s'est produit au Cully Jazz Festival 2022 et 2024.

Balimaya Project is a London-based band led by percussionist and composer Yahael Camara-Onono. This large ensemble with musicians from Burkina Faso to the Gambia draw on its Mandé drumming heritage to create a vibrant blend of jazz, soul and brass. We find them performing at the Cully Jazz Festival 2022 and 2024.
