Black Lives - From Generation to Generation
Black Lives - From Generation to Generation est un projet collectif initié durant la pandémie, une réponse musicale et multiculturelle au racisme et à la violence policière aux USA. Le groupe est formé d'une quinzaine de musiciens, dont la composition peut légèrement varier au cours de leur tournée, qui réunissent diverses facettes de la musique Afro-américaine comme le hip-hop, le funk, le rock et le blues. La formation que nous avons vue au Cully Jazz Festival en avril 2024 comprenait 13 musiciens, dont Raul Midón (gtr, voc) et Catherine Russell (voc) en guest stars.
Black Lives - From Generation to Generation
Black Lives - From Generation to Generation is a collective project initiated during the pandemic, a musical and multicultural response to racism and police violence in the USA. The group is made up of around fifteen musicians, whose composition may vary slightly during the course of the tour, bringing together different facets of African-American music such as hip-hop, funk, rock and blues. The line-up we saw at the Cully Jazz Festival in April 2024 consisted of 13 musicians, including guest stars Raul Midón (gtr, voc) and Catherine Russell (voc).
