L'édition 2024 du Blues Rules Crissier Festival s'est donnée pour thème le retour aux sources - Back to the Roots -, en particulier avec la présence de John Primer, accompagné sur scène par le charismatique guitariste du Mississipi Lightnin' Malcolm et le sulfureux groupe belge Well Well Well.

He was the lead guitarist for legends like Muddy Water, Willie Dixon, Junior Wells and Magic Slim before embarking on a four-decade career of his own, winning numerous Blues Awards and two Grammys, most recently for Traditional Blues in 2024. But, as he told us on stage : B.B. King said that you have to buy a Gibson to get rich. I've had a Gibson for a long time and I'm not rich. The theme of the Blues Rules Crissier Festival 2024 edition was Back to the Roots, with the presence of John Primer, accompanied on stage by the charismatic Mississippi guitarist Lightnin' Malcolm and the sultry Belgian band Well Well Well.
