Les vendanges dans un Château Grand Cru Classé à Pauillac Médoc
Château Pontet-Canet, located in the heart of the Pauillac appellation in the Médoc, boasts an exceptional 81-hectare vineyard near the Mouton Rothschild vineyards.
Intervening as little as possible and as naturally as possible is the philosophy applied to the Château Pontet-Canet vineyard, within the framework of biodynamic farming, where the Château remains a pioneer and an undisputed benchmark in the Médoc region.
In keeping with this philosophy, around ten horses carry out most of the work during the growing season, including the harvest for transporting the grapes to the winery.
The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates for optimal berry preservation, then sorted and destemmed by hand before falling by gravity into the vats for extremely precise vinification by plot.
The 1855 Château Pontet-Canet Grand Cru Classé is today one of the greatest names in the Bordeaux vineyard
