Hommage national aux pompiers décédés en intervention à Mérignac en juillet 2026
En présence de Laurent Nunez ministre de l’Intérieur et des autorités civiles et militaires nationales et régionales, un hommage national est rendu aux deux pompiers Wilfrid Schmitter and Anthony Berthome décédés durant une intervention proche de l’aéroport de Bordeaux. L’ensemble de la communauté des sapeurs-pompiers est présente pour la cérémonie célébrée sur la Place des Quinconces à Bordeaux.
National tribute to the firefighters who died while responding to an incident in Mérignac in July 2026
In the presence of Interior Minister Laurent Nunez and national and regional civil and military officials, a national tribute is being paid to two firefighters, Wilfrid Schmitter and Anthony Berthome, who died while responding to an incident near Bordeaux Airport. The entire firefighting community is present for the ceremony, which is taking place at the Place des Quinconces in Bordeaux.
