Manifestation pour le retrait de Paetongtarn Shinawatra
Des manifestants se sont réunis le 20 juin 2025 près du siège du gouvernement à Bangkok pour demander la démission de la Première ministre Paetongtarn Shinawatra après la fuite de son appel téléphonique avec le président du Sénat cambodgien Hun Sen. La manifestation était organisée par le Réseau du peuple et des étudiants pour la réforme de la Thaïlande. Les manifestants ont accusé Paetongtarn de compromettre la sécurité nationale, après la publication de l'enregistrement audio dans lequel elle critiquait la direction militaire thaïlandaise impliquée dans les opérations à la frontière. Le rassemblement s’est tenu alors que les tensions entre la Thaïlande et le Cambodge s’intensifient sur fond de différends territoriaux et de divergences sur les moyens de résoudre le conflit.

Protesters gathered near Government House in Bangkok on June 20, 2025, calling for Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra to step down after the leak of her phone conversation with Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen. The protest was organised by the People and Student Network for the Reform of Thailand. Demonstrators accused Paetongtarn of compromising national security, following the release of the audio clip that revealed her critical comments about Thai military leadership during border operations. The rally took place as tensions escalated along the Thai-Cambodian border, with both nations disputing territory and approaches to resolving the conflict.
