Manifestation contre la loi anti-avortement
Septième jour de manifestation contre le durcissement de la loi sur l'avortement en Pologne. Dans un contexte d'explosion des cas de Covid-19, plus de 500000 manifestants dans au moins 400 villes du pays, selon la police, ont bravés l'interdiction de rassemblement de plus de cinq personne pour protester contre ce qui devient une quasi-interdiction de l'avortement.
Une majorité de femme ont manifestées pour réclamer le respect de leurs droits fondamentaux. Plusieurs incidents impliquant des individus cagoulés, armés de bâtons, couteaux et sprays au poivre attaquant des manifestants ont été reportés. A Wroclaw, deux journalistes du journal Gazeta Wiborcza ont été molestées.
La veille, Jaroslaw Kaczyinski, vice premier ministre, chef du parti "Droits et Justice" et homme fort du pays avait réagit aux manifestations dans un discours agressif, qualifiant les manifestants de "Nihilistes", invitant ses supporters à "défendre les églises à tout prix", à défendre "le pays et le patriotisme", affirmant que c'est la seule manière de gagner la guerre déclaré par les manifestants.
Le collectif Strajk Kobieta (Greve des femmes) appelle à un grand rassemblement le samedi 30.10.2020 à Varsovie.
Poland - Student protest against abortion law
Seventh day of demonstration against the tightening of the abortion law in Poland. Against the backdrop of the explosion of Covid-19 cases, more than 500,000 demonstrators in at least 400 cities across the country, according to police, braved the ban on gathering more than five people to protest against what is becoming a near-ban on abortion.
A majority of women demonstrated to demand respect for their human rights. Several incidents involving hooded individuals armed with sticks, knives and pepper spray attacking protesters were reported. In Wroclaw, two journalists from the newspaper Gazeta Wiborcza were molested.
The day before, Jaros?aw Kaczy?ski, Deputy Prime Minister, head of the "Rights and Justice" party and strong man of the country had reacted to the demonstrations in an aggressive speech, calling the demonstrators "Nihilists", inviting his supporters to "defend the churches at all costs", to defend "the country and patriotism", saying that this was the only way to win the war declared by the demonstrators.
The collective Strajk Kobieta (Women's Greve) is calling for a large rally on Saturday 30.10.2020 in Warsaw.
