Jour J du premier tour des élections législatives en France, marquées notamment par la percée historique du Rassemblement National sur la quasi-totalité du territoire français.
Résumé d?une journée de vote dans deux communes du sud/ouest de l?île de la Réunion, à Saint Pierre (la « capitale du sud ») et aux Avirons, plus petite commune située davantage dans l?ouest.
Le taux de participation a atteint 45,5% sur l?île au premier tour, contre 28,5% en 2022.
Dans 6 circonscriptions sur 7, la gauche mène devant le RN qui qualifie néanmoins pour la première fois un candidat dans chaque circonscription pour le second tour des élections législatives à la Réunion.

D-Day for the first round of legislative elections in France, marked in particular by the historic breakthrough of the Rassemblement National across almost the entire French territory.
Here's a summary of a day's voting in two communes in the south/west of Reunion Island, in Saint Pierre (the "capital of the south") and Les Avirons, a smaller commune further west.
Voter turnout on the island reached 45.5% in the first round, compared with 28.5% in 2022.
In 6 out of 7 constituencies, the Left led ahead of the RN, which nevertheless qualified a candidate in each constituency for the second round of legislative elections on Reunion Island for the first time.
