Even if the traditions have been lost for many years, the Reunionese know how much they can rely on their environment and the natural elements that surround them. From the wild ayapana (called "marron" for "wild" in Creole) to the yellow flower, the osto wood and the geranium-rosat, many ailments can be cured with a good herbal tea based on these plants, or via a poultice or an essential oil.
This series aims to reflect in part this natural richness and to immortalize a part of the Reunionese heritage that we might tend to forget.
