Également connue sous le nom de Fantasia, la Tbourida est une manifestation culturelle et sportive emblématique du Maroc ancrée dans les traditions ancestrales du pays. Ce terme vient du mot arabe "tbaroud", une charge équestre où les cavaliers, vêtus de costumes traditionnels, exécutent des manœuvres spectaculaires. Leur participation à une course effrénée, tirant leur fusil en l’air dans une synchronisation parfaite, symbolise la bravoure, la puissance et la tradition guerrière des cavaliers marocains. Elle a été proclamée chef-d'œuvre du patrimoine oral et immatériel de l'humanité par l'UNESCO en 2005 et inscrite sur la liste représentative du patrimoine culturel immatériel de l'humanité en 2008.

Also known as Fantasia, the Tbourida is an iconic cultural and sporting event in Morocco rooted in the country's ancestral traditions. The term comes from the Arabic word “tbaroud,” an equestrian charge in which riders, dressed in traditional costumes, perform spectacular maneuvers. Their participation in a frantic race, firing their rifles into the air in perfect synchronization, symbolizes the bravery, power, and warrior tradition of Moroccan horsemen. It was proclaimed a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2005 and included on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2008.
