Vers un nouveau périphérique
À quelques mois des élections municipales, le sort du boulevard périphérique revient dans le débat public, avec pour objectif constant de le faire évoluer vers une meilleure intégration dans son environnement afin qu'il devienne un boulevard urbain, à la place du périphérique. Un accord a été signé entre la Ville de Paris, la commune de Gentilly, l’Établissement Public Territorial Grand-Orly-Seine-Bièvre et le Département du Val-de-Marne. Le but est de travailler collectivement à de meilleures liaisons entre nos territoires. Ce projet s'appuie sur un rapport de l'Apur (Atelier Parisien d’Urbanisme), qui imagine l'avenir d'une des voies latérales du périphérique, l'avenue Paul Vaillant-Couturier côté Gentilly.
Towards a new peripheral device
With municipal elections just a few months away, the fate of the ring road is back in the public debate, with the ongoing goal of transforming it into a boulevard that blends in better with its surroundings. An agreement has been signed between the City of Paris, the municipality of Gentilly, the Grand-Orly-Seine-Bièvre Public Territorial Establishment and the Val-de-Marne Department. The aim is to work collectively to improve connections between our territories. This project is based on a report by the Apur (Atelier Parisien d'Urbanisme), which envisages the future of one of the ring road's side roads, Avenue Paul Vaillant-Couturier on the Gentilly side.
