Mobilisation syndicale contre le budget 2025
Une semaine après le mouvement "Blocon Tout" du 10 septembre, largement phagocyté par l’extrême gauche, c’est au tour des syndicats de descendre dans la rue avec une mobilisation bien supérieure à celle du 10, qui n’avait réuni qu’environ 175 000 personnes. Aujourd’hui, on table sur environ 800 000 personnes réparties dans 250 cortèges déclarés pour ce 16 septembre.Les revendications concernent toujours le budget 2025, dans lequel M. Bayrou n’envisage que peu d’économies de l’État, mais toujours des efforts demandés aux salariés et aux retraités. Hier, le nouveau Premier ministre, M. Lecornut, a annoncé une mesurette concernant l’accompagnement des anciens Premiers ministres dans leur nouvelle vie d’ex-chefs de gouvernement.

One week after the “Blocon Tout” movement of September 10th, which was largely taken over by the far left, it's now the unions’ turn to take to the streets, with a much larger mobilization than on the 10th, which had gathered only around 175,000 people. Today, estimates suggest about 800,000 participants across 250 declared marches for this September 16th.
The demands still focus on the 2025 budget, in which Mr. Bayrou is planning very few state spending cuts, while continuing to ask for efforts from employees and retirees. Yesterday, the new Prime Minister, Mr. Lecornut, announced a token measure concerning the support offered to former Prime Ministers as they transition into life after office.
