COURIR EN RAMASSANT DES MASQUES USAGÉS
L'écoaventurier Clément Chapel, fondateur de l'association Ploggathon, organise la Maskathon Week dans la vallée du Rhône. Chaque jour, pendant une semaine, il court un marathon (42,2 km) dans les rues de plusieurs villes de Rhône-Alpes en ramassant les masques abandonnés dans les rues.
A Valence pour la deuxième étape il en a ramassé 355. L'objectif de cette manifestation est de sensibiliser le public sur la pollution créée par l'abandon de masques dans la rue.
Pour chaque centaine de masques ramassés, Ploggathon s'engage à planter un arbre fruiter à travers des plantations pédagogiques et citoyennes.
RUNNING AROUND COLLECTING USED MASKS
The eco-adventurer Clément Chapel, founder of the Ploggathon association, is organising the Maskathon Week in the Rhône Valley. Every day for a week, he runs a marathon (42.2 km) through the streets of several towns in the Rhône-Alpes region, collecting masks abandoned in the streets.
In Valence for the second stage he collected 355 masks. The aim of this event is to raise public awareness of the pollution created by abandoning masks in the street.
For every hundred masks collected, Ploggathon commits to planting a fruit tree through educational and citizen planting.
