Depuis 2007, l Afrique du Sud fait face a une crise energetique nationale aussi appelee loadshedding qui entraine des pannes d electricite recurantes, pouvant aller jusqu a 10 heures par jour. Ces coupures d electricite sont planifiees par l etat qui s assure ainsi que la consommation d electricite ne surpasse pas sa production ce qui conduirait a un black out. Via une application, les sud-africains connaissent les heures de coupure de courant et organisent leur quotidien en fonction.

Since 2007, South Africa has been facing a national energy crisis, also known as loadshedding, leading to recurring power cuts of up to 10 hours a day. These power cuts are planned by the government to ensure that electricity consumption does not exceed production, which would lead to a blackout. South Africans use an app to find out when the power is cut and organise their daily lives accordingly.
