Après avoir été diplômée de l'école de photographie de Vevey (Suisse) en 2002, Myriam Tirler s'installe à Paris où elle poursuit un travail photographique artistique tout en travaillant pour différents magazines et collaborant également avec d'autres artistes.
Si sa spécialité est le portrait elle questionne aussi la place du corps dans l'espace, comment l'individu s'inscrit dans son environnement. C'est pourquoi elle collabore avec des danseurs contemporains comme des architectes. Les voyages, les explorations en tout genre sont aussi ses sources d'inspiration.
« Il s'agit de ne pas désolidariser l'être humain du lieu, de son paysage propre à tel moment donné. Je crois en cette forme d'intimité qui nous lie à l'endroit où nous sommes, celui où nous vivons, où nous travaillons, celui encore où nous choisissons d'aller chercher d'autres paysages, sons, odeurs, cultures... Ainsi, je cadre dans un cadre qui me préexiste, comme pour souligner la frontière du réel et de ce que j'en perçois, nourrir dans le même geste la fiction et le documentaire ».
Son travail a été exposé dans différentes galeries à Paris, Genève, Bordeaux, Nice et Munich.
En 2013 elle publie aux éditions Filigranes l'ouvrage Once upon a time story fragment before the very last day. 
After graduating from the Vevey School of Photography (Switzerland) in 2002, Myriam Tirler moved to Paris in pursuit of her photographic art, working in parallel for magazines and cooperating with other artists.
Even though her specialization is portraits, she is equally questioning the place of bodies in space, the fashion in which the individual is integrated with his environment.
For this reason, she is working with dancers as well as with architects.
Travels and explorations of all kinds are sources of inspiration too.
« There has to be no dissociation of the human being from his environment, from his own scenery and place at a given moment.
I believe in that form of intimacy which connects us to the one particular place where we are, where we live or work, or even to the places we choose in our search for other landscapes, sounds, odours, cultures...
This makes me compose my images into a pre-existing frame, as if to emphasize the frontier between reality and my own perception of it, to nourish in one gesture the fictive and the documentary ». 
She exhibits her work at different galleries in Paris, Geneva, Bordeaux, Nice and Munich.
