Daniel
Daniel
Daniel has been the caretaker of the Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Chapel for almost 27 years.
Former drug addict, he assumes that his faith has saved his life.
Taciturn and lonely, he discreetly performs the tasks that constitute his silent daily routine.
His life mainly consists of simple meals, the maintenance of the Chapel, and long moments of solitude.
Through his universe, I question my own anxieties such as aging, social isolation or the deep meaning of our existence.
