Ce rendez-vous s'inscrit dans un contexte économique difficile pour la majorité des ménages, entre inflation galopante, crise de l'énergie et dérèglement climatique. Les autorités ont estimé à 30000 le nombre de manifestants. De son côté, l?organisation revendique 140000 manifestants.
Demonstration against high living costs and climate inaction
On Sunday 16 October 2022, in Paris, the demonstration "against the high cost of living and climate inaction" organised by the Nupes, started from the Place de la Nation and ended at the Place de la République. This event took place in a difficult economic context for the majority of households, between galloping inflation, energy crisis and climate change. The authorities have estimated the number of demonstrators at 30,000. For its part, the organisation claims 140,000 demonstrators.
