MIGRATIONS CLIMATIQUES #2 - DUARI PARA (BANGLADESH)
A travers une mise en perspective de deux lieux du Bangladesh, ce projet vise à documenter l'état du dérèglement climatique dans le pays et des migrations climatiques qu'il engendre. Pour cela, nous sommes allé dans le bidonville de Duari Para à Dacca, capitale du Bangladesh, abritant principalement des migrants climatiques venant des campagnes du sud du pays où ils ont subi les méfaits du dérèglement climatique.
Nous avons également relaté
le sud du Bangladesh au village de Pratab Nagar durement affecté (pour ne pas dire dévasté) par le dérèglement climatique, notamment la montée des eaux, l'erosion des et la salinisation.
CLIMATE MIGRATIONS #2 - DUARI PARA (BANGLADESH)
Through a perspective of two places in Bangladesh, this project aims to document the state of climate disruption in the country and the climatic migrations that it engenders. To do this, we went to
the village of Pratab Nagar in southern Bangladesh, which has been severely affected (not to say devastated) by climate change, particularly rising water levels, erosion and salinisation.
We then reported on the Duari Para slum in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, which is home to mainly climate migrants from the southern countryside where they have been affected by climate change.
