Grève du Samu social de Paris : le mouvement se poursuit, annonce et début de l'occupation du site Berlier
Le 15 juillet 2026, grévistes du Samu social de Paris, membres de la CGT, agents du 115, membres d’Utopia 56 et familles sans abri se rassemblent devant l’Hôtel de Ville puis au siège du Samu social à Paris, pour protester contre la réduction de 861 nuitées journalières imposée par l’État, mettant 1 200 personnes en risque de remise à la rue. La grève, débutée le 23 juin 2026, dénonce des réorganisations internes imposées sans concertation, des risques psychosociaux pour les agents du 115 et la violation du caractère inconditionnel de l’hébergement d’urgence. À 20h, l’occupation pour une durée indéterminée du site Berlier du Samu social est annoncée par les syndicats, associations et familles présentes. Le lendemain matin, 16 juillet 2026, des familles, des bénévoles et des grévistes sont installés sur le parvis du site Berlier, attendant une solution d’hébergement d’urgence. L’occupation se poursuit.
Samu social de Paris strike continues with occupation of the Berlier site
On July 15 2026, striking workers of the Samu social de Paris, CGT union members, 115 hotline agents, Utopia 56 members and homeless families gather in front of Paris City Hall and later at the Samu social headquarters in Paris, to protest against the State-imposed reduction of 861 daily housing places placing 1 200 people at risk of losing their emergency housing. The strike, which began on June 23 2026, denounces internal reorganizations imposed without consultation, psychosocial risks for 115 staff and violations of the unconditional right to emergency housing. At 8pm, the indefinite occupation of the Samu social Berlier site is announced by unions, associations and homeless families present. The following morning, July 16 2026, families, volunteers and striking workers remain on the forecourt of the Berlier site awaiting an emergency housing solution. The occupation continues.
