En juillet 2017, quelques jours apres la fin de la bataille de Mossoul, Mgr BARBARIN, alors archeveque de Lyon se rend dans la plaine de Ninive et notamment a Mossoul, conformement a la promesse faite a Mgr Petros MOUCHE archeveque syriaque catholique de Mossoul quelques annees plus tot.

In July 2017, a few days after the end of the battle of Mosul, Archbishop BARBARIN, then Archbishop of Lyon, went to the Nineveh plain and in particular to Mosul, in accordance with the promise made to Archbishop Petros MOUCHE, Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Mosul, a few years earlier.
